Lorrie Hargis, RA, CFEP, For over 38 years, Lorrie has been a global leader in developing Certified Organic therapeutic skin care, perfumes, and health care products. She has led the curriculum development and training programs at Fortune 500 companies and taught thousands of people to better their health and well-being in the US, Europe and Asia.

Lorrie is the Author of Common Scents, A Practical Guide to Aromatherapy 2nd edition

She is the founder of the Lorrie Hargis International School of Aromatherapy where she teaches, guides, and certifies her students to be safe and effective Aromatherapists and Flower Essence Practitioners. Lorrie’s imparts her vast experience as a Registered Aromatherapist, Reflexologist, Kinesiologist, Iridologist, Herbalist, Flower Essence Practitioner and her love of Traditional Chinese Medicine to other Holistic Health Practitioners through her Common Scents Community.

This has led her to develop the “Lorrie” method based on the latest scientific research and ancient teachings, incorporating mental and emotional wellness to build self-confidence, knowledge, and skills assuring outstanding results.

 


Cary Caster (BS, LMT, CCA) Botanist, Licensed Massage Therapist and Clinically Certified Aromatherapist, pursued her education in Botany and the study of plant-based medicine, earning academic and clinical degrees in plant science, anatomy, physiology, and essential oil therapy from institutions in the US, UK, and France. Her expanded knowledge and passion for aromatherapy and medicinal plants and their effects on the body’s chemistry includes an understanding of Eastern medicinal practices and the healing abilities of implementing The 5 Element Theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine. With her graduate studies in Ethnobotany and a thirst for travel, she has been to over 50 countries, always visiting local markets and Botanical gardens to enrich her passion for nature’s bounty.

In 2009, she created her own brand of essential oil blends in the USA with the development of 21 Drops. LLC. As the company gained attention, she has been quoted in numerous magazines and editorials, referencing many aromatherapy journals and documented information, striving to educate the public on the importance of quality within the field of aromatherapy and using essential oils.

Cary was elected to the board of AIA in 2011, where she has been a member ever since, as well as being a member of NAHA, Plant Savers United, The American Botanical Society, ICMAD, CEW, Sierra Club, WWF, Nature Conservancy, to name a few. She is now on the board of AIA once again since 2025.
