Researchers have discovered various components to fibromyalgia, yet none of them are compiled to form a complete picture. Understanding and recognizing these various aspects is key to FM relief.

Additionally, one study found that 91% of FM sufferers sought and found relief in holistic therapies. In order to make ourselves available for our clients, we need to understand FM and its various facets. In this webinar, FM advocate and support group leader, Veronica ‘Rhani’ Easterling Thomas will shed light on these “Fibro Facets” and will share how aromatherapy is an essential tool in pain management and symptom relief.

Veronica founded Multicultural Aromatherapy in 2008 when she began her aromatherapy journey. She is a writer, poet, blogger, and speaker. Veronica was trained by multiple teachers, including Geraldine Zelinsky, Elizabeth Ashley, the Tisserand (Robert & Hana), Atlantic (Sylla & Nyssa Hanger) and Alexandria Brighten Institutes, and more. Additionally, Veronica achieved a diploma in Natural Health, earned a certificate in Herbs and received teacher training from an international Bible educational school. Veronica is a Founding member and trainer for Real Sisters Rising business network. She holds memberships with AIA, NAHA, Alkeme Health, Black Women United and others. She has contributed articles to the International Journal of Professional Holistic Aromatherapy, EECOpreneurz, Sisters Inc., BellaOnline, and local fibromyalgia newsletters.

Her work in the Fibromyalgia community as a support group leader for a local hospital lead to being a participant in a research study and video documentary for fibromyalgia. She is a champion for Team Natural Hair by managing a directory promoting 100% natural hair care products long before the discovery of chemical hair relaxers being linked to infertility and reproductive cancers in African American women. Her passion for aromatherapy led to the development of the Facebook group, Aromatherapy Truth, and a Resource Center where anyone can access truthful and safe aromatherapy resources.
