My Essential Oil Journey: Transforming From Salon to Hospital Settings with Kim Sterrett, RN™️

Will present a time-line style account of my journey with Essential Oil use including anecdotal stories and case studies of the challenges and rewards.

Kim Sterrett is an AIA member and has been a Holistic Healer since 1994. She received a diploma in Spa Therapy Esthetics from the Catherine Hinds School of Esthetics, and also certification in Aromatherapy. A Licensed Esthetics Instructor, she has taught at both the Catherine Hinds Institute and the Elizabeth Grady School of Esthetics. She received her Nursing degree from Regis College in 2006, also receiving awards for leadership and professionalism.

Her expertise as an RN is in the hospice and psychiatric fields. Kim edited the VA hospital policy on both Reiki and Aromatherapy, establishing programs for use on inpatient Veterans, for which she received a Nursing Excellence award from the VA in May of 2020. She has taught continuing education classes on skin care, Reiki, and Aromatherapy, also lecturing at several local hospitals on the benefits of Reiki and Aromatherapy as therapeutic treatments for patients and staff. She has written articles on healthcare for a local newspaper. She and her husband live north of Boston with their 4 adopted fur babies.
